D-ILL

BSCAN ILL is production capture software for interlibrary loan departments. It supports production flatbed scanners as well as planetary book scanners. It provides rapid scan and easy review and rescan for optimum scanned image quality. BSCAN ILL provides production image cleanup features for optimum image quality. It also reads the barcoded loan request sheets and automatically sends the scanned article to the requestor through Ariel® or Illiad®. The result, high quality interlibrary loan services without additional staff.

Until the introduction of BSCAN ILL, improving image quality and reducing operating costs have been mutually exclusive. BSCAN ILL offers a production scanning interface that reduces scanning time and automatically cleans up images by deskewing text, eliminating messy borders and reducing or eliminating book fold distortion. BSCAN ILL also supports Bookeye planetary scanners for maximum efficiency.
