MegaVision Inc. is pleased to announce a hyper spectral imaging system. The system includes not only an advanced large-format digital camera, but also a low-heat illumination system and operational software, all operating as an efficient integrated system and supported by a variety of AIAXact Repro/Copy stands that provide the greatest degree of precision, stability and registration
The MegaVision digital imaging system provides a digital image size of about 40 megapixels, which is not too large to be processed and analyzed efficiently on most computer systems. Illumination in distinct spectral bands with LEDs yields good spectral response for scientific studies and processing targeted illumination with limited heat.
EurikaVision’s imaging system offers simplicity of design and operation with state-of-the-technology equipment for the efficient collection, illumination and handling of needed image data.
EurikaVision is modular, so with the exception of the camera back, lenses and shutters, the size, shape, and number of lights can be varies, as well as the type of and size of the Reproworkstation.
A typical configuration would include:
- Capture: An integrated MegaVision Monochrome E6 39 megapixel back and camera (see note on monochrome image capture). This system includes:Digital Back: MegaVision E6 Monochrome Camera: 2X3 View camera w/ Schneider Apo Macro 120 mm f5.6. Dynamic Range: 12 bits per channel: 14bit ACD I thought we used a 16 bit ADC for the 2 tap E6 File Size: 78 Mbyte/color at 16 bits, 39 Mbyte/color at 8 bits. Capture Rate: One picture per 3 seconds, subject to illumination constraints. CCD Array: 7216 x 5412 pixels, 6.8 micron pixel size. Equivalent Film Speed: Adjustable; 100, 200, & 400 ISO. Connectivity: IEEE 1394 Firewire 400 PhotoShoot™ Software: Windows 2000, XP Home & Pro platforms. Vista compatible but not recommended until future service pack release by Microsoft. Warranty: One full year, extended warranty available.
- Illumination: An Equipoise Eureka!Light LED illumination system. This system offers imaging in 12 distinct spectral bands or a combination of spectral bands. Raking illumination is also available in two spectral bands from either side of the object. This system typically includes the following: Illumination with low heat and low maintenance light emitting diodes (LED) at 12 specific wavelengths including:
- UV 365nm
- Visible 445, 470, 505, 530, 570, 617, 625nm
- Infrared 700, 735, 780, 870nm integrated operation with MegaVision PhotoShoot™ Software
- Configuration: Each Eureka!Light panel is 14"X14" X 3" . The panels mount with standard professional light stand mounting studs. Each panel may contain all 12 LED bandwidths, with a total power of about 240 Watts. The panels are powered and controlled via a power pack with an integrated USB Hub. Up to 6 panels may be powered from a single power pack. A single USB cable from the power pack to the computer enables PhotoShoot to control the lights. PhotoShoot can control up to 14 individual panels.
