The ring flash has a guide number of 14 (ISO 100) and is designed for use in situations where completely frontal lighting or flat, contrast-free light is required. The ring flash head is screwed into the filter thread of the lens (std. 62mm, other sizes with optional stepping rings). For extreme close-ups the shortest effective distance for the flash is 3cm measured from the end of the filter thread.
Energy consumption: 110-1350 flashes with alkaline batteries 65-370 flashes with NICAD rechargeable batteries. Optional external power supply
