JenOptik (Zeiss Jena) C Mount Lenses

In addition to the lens Lametar 2.8/25 mm (cf. Section 3.3), the lenses Apo-Rodagon 28/50 mm, Lamegon 3.5/14 and Shift, Swing & Tilt Apo 4.0/45 mm are also recommended for the ProgRes camera.

The standard ProgRes 3008 comes equipped with a premounted infra-red barrier filter. Therefore, it is not possible to operate the Lamegon 3.4/14 mm with this camera.

The figure below illustrates the relationship between source sizes and the distance between the source and the camera sensor with regard to individual lens systems

The Lametar 2.8/25 mm Lens

Characteristic features
o Colour-corrected in the visual area
o High resolution over the entire image field
o Distortion-free
o Outstandingly suitable for the close-up range
o Iris aperture
o Metric thread

Technical data
o Focal distance 25 mm
o Aperture 2.8 - 11
o Image field diameter 13 mm
o Shortest adjustment distance 0.15 m
o Connection thread C-Mount 1 " x 1/32"

The Apo-Rodagon 2.8/50 mm Lens

Characteristic features
o Apochromatic colour correction
o High resolution to the edge of the image
o Minimal vignetting with open aperture, no vignetting with f-stop of 5.6 and up
o Optimized for lens field sizes between 17 cm * 13 cm and
170 cm * 130 cm
o From half-step locking to infinitely variable preset aperture

Technical data:
o Focal distance 50 mm
o Aperture 2.8 - 11 continuously variable or half-step locking
o Image field diameter 45 mm
o Shortestadjustmentdistance 0.15 m
o Connection thread C-mount 1 " x 1/32"

The Lamegon 3.5/14 mm Lens
Your ProgRes camera must be equipped with a removable Infra-Red filter for you to be able to use the Lamegon 3.5/14 mm lens. Before screwing the Lamegon into your camera's C-mount, you must first of all unscrew your camera's IR filter as otherwise the filter and the camera's sensor will be destroyed.

The standard ProgRes 3008 comes with a pre-mounted filter that is fixed in place. Therefore, it is not possible to use the Lamegon 3.5/14 mm with this camera.

To remove the filter, use the filter replacement tool included with your camera (plastic cylinder with two small pins). Now you can carefully screw the Lamegon into your camera's C-mount. Make sure that your Lamegon has a BG39, 0.8 mm filter in front.

Characteristic features
o Colour-corrected in the visual area
o High resolution over the entire image field
o Distortion-free
o Outstandingly suitable for the close-up range
o Iris aperture
o Metric thread

Technical data at a glance
o Focal distance 14 mm
o Aperture 3.5- 11
o Image field diameter 13 mm
o Shortest adjustment distance 0.15 m
o Connection thread C-mount 1 " x 1/32"

The Shift, Swing & Tilt Apo 4,0/45 mm Lens

The special Shift, Swing & Tilt Apo 4.0/45 mm lens allows you to make exposures without perspective distortion and high-definition exposures of spatially staggered objects while observing the Scheimpilug-condition.

Characteristic Features
o Shift in all directions of + 20 mm
o Maximum Swing & Tilt of approx. 30o
o Preset aperture
o Multilayer anti reflection coating
o Apochromatic colour correction

Technical data at a glance
o Focal distance 45 mm
o Aperture 4.0 – 22
o Shortest adjustment distance 0.15 m
o Connection thread C-mount 1 " x 1/32"
