Perfect image quality for easy, reliable analysis

Excellent image quality is an essential prerequisite for precise analytical results. With the ProgRes C14, Jenoptik L.O.S. has introduced the latest addition to the successful ProgRes Series. Like its predecessors, the ProgRes C14 sets new benchmarks in digital microscopic and macroscopic photography.

The ProgRes C14 delivers high-resolution images with impeccable detail and exceptional color fidelity, which means perfect results no matter what the requirements. Optimum image quality and unmatched convenient operation make the ProgRes C14 the choice of preference for all applications.

For documentation or analysis, material testing or medical, scientific and technical applications, the ProgRes C14 is the preferred digital camera of choice for all professional applications.
The CCD sensor-
For unsurpassed sensitivity

The ProgRes C14 builds on a 1300 x 1030 pixel CCD sensor and features full 42 bit RGB color depth for perfect halftones. Extremely precise microscanning boosts the resolution of the hermetically sealed sensor to a maximum of 3900 x 3090 pixels of true image information -without computerized interpolation. The integrated IR suppression filter, which is located well in front of the focal plane of the optical system, also provides effective protection against dust.

With its high resolution, excellent sensitivity and exceptional color depth, the ProgRes C14 can be used for all conventional contrast processes such as bright or dark ground, phase contrast or DIC

Even with very low light signals, the ProgRes C14 produces images with extremely low noise and outstanding color fidelity, which makes it the perfect choice for sensitive applications such as fluorescence microscopy, Active cooling of the CCD sensor with a peltier element and ventilation means that low-light specimen with corresponding long integration times are no longer a problem. The ProgRes C14 allows for exposure times of from 1/4000 sec. up to several minutes!

Maximum versatility for more convenience

You now can take advantage of the full potential of your microscope-in the areas of histology, cytology or genetics.-Color co-site sampling in microscanning mode makes it possible to capture even the finest specimen structures without any image loss or moiré effect.

Choosing from four resolution settings, the ProgRes C14 always delivers maximum image quality no matter what the application. The results are razor-sharp images with absolute color fidelity and noise-free, exceptionally dynamic reproduction of even the finest nuances in all density ranges. That means ideal base materials for errorfree digital image analysis for all conceivable areas of application.

The ProgRes C14 comes with a C-mount for maximum versatility. Therefore, it fits the microscope or any common C-mount lens perfectly. With its 3/8" or 1/4" mount, it can be just as easily used on a photographic or repro tripod.

Convenient operation for more productivity

The ProgRes C14's modern FireWire interface allows for an easy, convenient PC interface with a data transfer rate of 400 Mbit/sec.

The ProgRes C14 makes your work as easy as possible, This compact camera operates completely automatic. No shutter or filter wheel bothers you while making fine adjustments on the microscope.

A fast online image with a loupe function permits reliable alignment and focusing for optimum control of results.

The frame rate of 5 fps can be increased up to 18 fps through Binning (Binning factor of 5) in five steps. At the same time, automatic exposure metering guarantees optimum image control and as a result maximum productivity.

Digital technology makes all operations-from initial capture to archiving -as efficient as possible and at the same time supports a wide range of different possibilities for post-processing and analysis. The user-friendly software makes it extremely easy to control the camera and the microscope with the TWAIN interface. As a result, users can continue to work with their usual imageprocessing software.

The TWAIN plug-in opens the door to all professional image processing programs.

When used on a electronically controlled microscope, many operations can be automated to substantially simplify complex imaging-for example, multiplefluorescence and time-sequence applications.

Complicated settings can be stored with a single mouse click and immediately reproduced at any time, which means reliability, saved time and more convenience in everyday operation.
