QUALITY
The revolutionary technology includes scanning optics with motion along both the x and y axes, enabling accurate positioning of the scanner head directly below the center of each original, regardless of where it is placed in the scanning area. This technology assures uniform sharpness and high resolution anywhere on the scanner bed.

AUTOMATION
The EverSmartrM comes with built-in Scitex expertise, which allows you to produce high quality scans from day one. Full automation and a highly intuitive interface provide a choice between automatic and interactive scanning. Automatic image analysis can be initiated by a non-expert user, while the application selects the appropriate settings according to each original type.

INTUITIVE
Mapping out the scanning workflow, the EverSmart application guides the user through every step with clear and intuitive icons. The application's advanced tools are easily mastered by observing the effect of potential changes to the image on the screen, using the Split Screen feature.

FLEXIBILITY
The EverSmart scanner is a complete solution, for all scanning needs, with total flexibility in image size, thickness, material and format. Framed images and mounted slides don't have to be taken apart for scanning, and reflective original thickness is virtually unlimited. Thick books, paintings, packaging and other unusual shapes and materials can be placed on the open scanner for high-resolution scanning. The EverSmart scans transparent, reflective, printed material, negatives, positives, color or black-and-white.

The application supports all types of common scanning workflows:

o CMYK for printing

o RGB for archiving, second generation, multimedia or other on-line screen appl ications

o ICC for scanning in Color Management Systems (CMS) environments
